Taiwan Heat and Mass Transfer Society – Call for Members Announcement

Purpose: This Society was approved for establishment by the Ministry of the Interior on March 9, 2017 (Document No. 1050091514). We hereby openly solicit members.

Announcement Details:

1. 1. Mission of the Society:
      This Association is a legally established, non-profit social organization. Its mission is to jointly promote the research and application of heat and mass transfer, facilitate the academic development of heat and mass transfer science and engineering in our country, and enhance international recognition of research achievements. Simultaneously, it aims to establish a communication platform among industry, academia, and research institutions to facilitate information exchange and increase collaboration opportunities.
   2. Membership Eligibility:
      (a) Individual Members: Individuals aged 20 or above who endorse the Society’s mission, complete the membership application form, are approved by the Board of Directors, and pay the membership fee, may become Individual Members.
      (b) Group Members: Public or private institutions or organizations that endorse the Society’s mission, complete the membership application form, are approved by the Board of Directors, and pay the membership fee, may become Group Members. Each group may appoint one to two representatives to exercise its rights.
      (c) Sponsoring Members: Public or private institutions, organizations, or individuals that endorse the Society’s mission and provide support to the Society, upon approval by the Board of Directors, may become Sponsoring Members.
      (d) Honorary Members: Public or private institutions, organizations, or individuals that endorse the Society’s mission and have contributed to the Society, upon approval by the Board of Directors, may become Honorary Members.
      (e) Student Members: Individuals aged 20 or above, currently enrolled in domestic or foreign public or private schools, who endorse the Society’s mission, complete the membership application form, are approved by the Board of Directors, and pay the membership fee, may become Student Members.
